1. Why are the teachings brief and concise?
The teachings have been excerpted from larger teachings to facilitate easy download as well as uploading to your iPod and other media at home, office, retreat, or when recreating.
2. Why are they so affordable?
Buddhist teachings are meant to serve humanity regradless of ability to pay.
3. Are there more teachings?
Yes, there are many more teachings that are being digitized and uploaded. You can request to be notified as they become available by sending an email request to: Teaching Updates
4. Is there support if I have any problems downloading teaching files?
Absolutely, simply contact our Download Team for full technical support.
5. How do I study these teachings?
The teachings offered on-line are not intended to substitute for a personal connection with a qualified Buddhist teacher. If a teacher cannot be found then recordings, books, and so on are a reasonable option. As excerpts, these teachings are not complete and should only serve as one of many sources for information and study.
6. Can these teachings really end mental and emotional suffering?
Buddhist teachings have proven their effectiveness over several thousand years. They are a tool that can help cease, "Participating in the perpetuation of one's own suffering." However, they are not a substitute for qualified mental and emotional care. Anyone with a past, present, or impending mental or emotional crisis should immediately cease listening to these teachings and seek professional counseling and/or intervention.
7. Can Rainbowdharma recommend a Buddhist center of teacher near you?
Although Rainbowdharma encourages students to study various traditions and teachers, in order to protect our independent voice we have no direct relationship with Buddhist centers. Our role in matching students with teachers and centers is limited to mentions about the topic of finding a teacher within the teachings offered in our store.
